Let's face it, the TI 84 Plus graphing calculator is definitely better than the TI 83 - or even the TI 83 Plus; it's like using a bike instead of a skate board, or a car instead of a bike. The only reason for choosing a TI-83 graphing calculator over a TI 84 Plus has been the price. It's usually cheaper. So, for those on a tight budget, the TI 83 has been a good option.
